eleven

wow, eleven days, huh? not too much has happened really. I'm going to see my friend Paul who is town in a little bit tonight. I had a great burrito with meredith from the comet the other night. i watched the OC and hero. i got a new book i can't wait to start reading. i had to go to the doctor. i bought some presents for some people. i am still working on new songs, only nothing that i wrote before two months ago. i got a new watch. man, maybe some sweet stuff did happen. i think i'm starting to get really excited about christmas. usually i just get bummed out, but this time it's different, and i don't know why. there is no good reason for my optimism, and i know it is very misplaced, but i still am hanging onto this scrap of hope. maybe it's this medicine i'm taking. hahaha. i'm not taking any medicine. i don't believe in it. well , not all of it at least. tomorrow will be busy. I am getting lunch, and then trying to get much of my christmas shopping done. i really can't figure out what it is about this year that makes me feel good. whatever it is, i just hope it sticks around through the new year. well even until new years ever would be good. i mean, i know new years eve is going to be a bummer. but hey! that's what they make booze for!
